Refund policy

Refund and Cancellation Policy:

Customers have a legal right to cancel orders up to seven days after the order has been placed and can receive a full refund. This statutory period of seven days does not apply to all products, as the return and cancellation policy varies by product category. As The Renovation Centre store offers both bespoke and stock items, please read carefully to determine which return and cancellation policy is associated to the product you are ordering.

Cancellations of stock items will only be accepted up to seven working days after the delivery date of the products. After this date, no refund will be given. To ensure that your cancellation is processed and you meet the cancellation deadline, you must submit our order cancellation form, which can be found here: https://renocentre.co.uk/pages/order-cancellation and a member of our team will be in touch.

Where a refund is due, the amount will be refunded without delay and no later than 14 days after the day we receive the product(s) back to our warehouse. If the product has not been delivered and you have informed us of a cancellation, you will receive your refund no later than 14 days after informing us.

Damages / Incorrect Delivery

Reporting Damages:
Please send an email to damages@renocentre.co.uk with your order number, quantity of damaged goods & images so that we can process replacements.

 What Damages Will be accepted?

  • Damages Caused before and during delivery (Renovation Centre Arranged Delivery’s only, we are not responsible for damages via a 3rd party courier arranged by the customer).
  • Damages During handling by ourselves.
  • Damages are found after opening the packaging and is reported using any of our contact portals within 24 Hours.
  • Manufacturing defects Within 6 Months, any manufacturing defects after this it is up to you to prove it was faulty at the time of purchase or delivery. 

What Damages Will Not be accepted?

The list includes the most common reasons why a damage may be denied however all requests will be looked at on a case-by-case basis.

  • Damages caused by Mishandling by the customer
  • Damages caused during fitting
  • Miscuts or mis-measures
  • Direct UV Damage caused by cutting panels in direct sunlight outside
  • Damages Caused by improper Cleaning
  • Damages caused by improper storing of the Items
  • Physical damage not caused during shipping knocks, bangs, or burns

We are also not responsible for any damages due to the following:

  • An Act of God
  • Seizure under legal process
  • Riots, Civil Commotion or unrest, demonstrations, strike or lockouts (general or partial stoppage
  • Any consequence of war, terrorism and kindred risks

If your Damages request has been accepted and you have opted for a refund The Renovation Centre is not liable for any other charges relating to the order. This includes but is not limited to the following

  • Fitting Charges / Scheduled work deposits
  • Fuel Costs / 3rd Party Delivery We will offer a return Label for Damages if we are found at fault, We will not refund any delivery charges where the customer has chosen a 3rd party
  • Loss of earnings
  • Any incurring damages as a result of the product other than the product itself

Returns

Any return must be accompanied by a completed Returns Form. that can be found here: The Renovation Centre will not collect any surplus or unwanted goods; the customer will be responsible for arranging the return of goods to:

Return tiles must be received during regular opening hours (Monday-Friday 8.30am-5pm) and must be in resalable condition, original packaging, and returned within 14 days of the original delivery date.

Any refund or credit will be processed within 14 days following our receipt of the return. Samples, clearance, and special purchase items are non-returnable.

Bespoke Bifolds, Windows and Doors

The company does not offer a return policy on the products listed above. All bespoke doors and window products are made specifically for your requirements, therefore returns are not possible. The statutory period does not apply on these products as they are all bespoke to your order specifications.

We cannot accept and return or refund items that are listed as they are specially manufactured goods, unless they are found to be faulty. If you believe an order or part of an order to be faulty or incorrectly supplied, please complete the form here: https://renocentre.co.uk/pages/defect-enquiry. At this point we will assess your order details and claim to ascertain whether the fault lies within the manufacturing process. The team will then liaise directly with you to exchange any goods and offer solutions.

Cancellation or change of product details for all the products listed, will only be accepted up to two working days after the order has been placed. After this date no refund will be given. To ensure that your cancellation is processed, please complete the order cancellation form here: https://renocentre.co.uk/pages/order-cancellation before the cancellation period has expired. Please note, once payment is made for any bespoke product your order becomes live, and the two working days begins straight away. To avoid any cancellation or changes fees, please get in touch immediately after placing your order, via email. To meet the cancellation deadline, you must send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.

Please note all images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that your computer’s display of the colours accurately reflect the colour of the Product. Your Product may vary slightly from those images. Although we have made every effort to be as accurate as possible, because some of our bespoke products are made from Aluminium there is an extra 2-5mm tolerance on all the dimensions and measurements you provide.

Please make sure your measurements are correct and accurate and consider the Aluminium tolerance. Unfortunately, we cannot accept the return of made-to-measure Product if the reason for the return is because you provided us with incorrect measurements. However, this will not affect your legal rights as a consumer in relation to made-to-measure Product that are faulty or not as described.
